Governance

There are currently thirteen Directors of the Foundation made up of ten who all reside in the local area including two Japanese Directors, and three Japanese Directors who reside in Japan.

A full meeting of all Directors takes place twice per year in April and October, with the AGM also held in April.

Finances

The chart below shows the distribution of operating outlays for the Foundation 2025 financial year.

The income earned from wisely invested capital is what allows the Foundation to fund its Charitable Grants and Tertiary Education Bursary programs, and through careful budget planning for 2025 we were able to fund 16 Bursary applications and 4 Grant applications.

In the current financial market with fluctuating interest rates, we are looking forward to once again supporting those in need in our community with the continued diligence and keen financial skills of some very talented Board members.
